What a season it has been!

We are guttered we couldn’t carry on and have the Carnival we originally planned
However the rain wasn’t going to dampen our spirits.

Today we celebrate not only the achievements of our players, but the commitment, determination and hard work that has gone into making the 2026 season such a memorable one.

To our players -
thank you for the sacrifices you’ve made, the early mornings, tough trainings, game days, setbacks and the countless hours you’ve put in. Your effort, resilience and willingness to learn and improve is something to be proud of. You’ve represented your teams and club with heart, pride and determination. 👏

To our whānau -
thank you for being there every step of the way. For the early starts, the sideline support, the driving, washing jerseys, helping with fundraising, cheering from the sidelines and everything else that happens behind the scenes. Rugby is a team sport, but it takes a whole whānau to make it possible. ❤️

And to our coaches, managers and volunteers - thank you for giving your time, energy and knowledge to our tamariki. Thank you for teaching them not only about rugby, but about teamwork, discipline, respect, resilience and backing each other. Your commitment and generosity make such a difference, and we are incredibly grateful. 🙌

Most importantly, we hope every player walks away from this season with great memories, new friendships, a stronger sense of belonging and a real love for the game.

🛡️🛡️ U8 TITANS 2026

What a season for our mighty U8 Titans! 💙🤍

We started with a mix of natural little footy players and some pulling on the boots for the very first time. Week by week, every one of them grew in skill, confidence and belief, and along the way they became a proper little whānau.

They played with heart, backed each other and represented their families and MAC with pride, honour and respect. As their coach, it’s been an absolute privilege watching these little legends grow.

A massive thank you to our managers, parents, whānau and everyone at MAC who made the season possible. You fullas are the real MVPs!

🏆🏆 UNDEFEATED U11 HUNTERS 2026

It's been a long season with good learns from Hard work n commitment to trainings for our U11 Hunters in grading we faced the Havelock team we played today all our togetherness our team bond has been our magic in 2026 we got up 6 trys to 2 in the first half beating them all over the park.2nd half has us being stung for counter ruck infringements which Havelock came back to get up 8 to 6 trys with 10 minutes to go there Highball kick off rattled us abit but we overcame that slump to stop that roll on n we scored again 8 7 to Hnth n again we crossed the line again with our forwards working hard pick n go before the ball went wide to Hannah to lock it up at 8 all.4 mins to go havelock kicks over our heads ended up with them surging at our line a couple times less than 2 min to go we were penalized again after the refs critical counter ruck calls in all honesty I thought we were still up by 1 they tapped an there runner was hit hard by Leo (Beautiful tackle)less than a minute to go there same runner runs again and our Hunters move up quick n took him again jamesford n samaika big ups on D we get the ball back Hazel kicks it out to end the game.now I still thought we were up 1 🤣🤣but as it ended in a 8 all draw I was so happy for a draw for us a draw is still a huge win from grading to the end of our season our team collected POD again their effort as a team has been the biggest thing for our Hunters proud to be apart of this team

WHAT A GAME, DODGERS!

What a game today, our Dodgers! We are beyond proud of you all, overly proud doesn’t even begin to cover it! What an amazing season we have had as a team, and it has honestly been an absolute pleasure taking you lot again this season. 🥹👏

Today, every single one of our Dodgers received a medal because every one of you were our Players of the Day! You all deserved it for the effort, heart and determination you showed out there.

I also want to give a special shoutout to two of our more shy players who really got in there today and stood out to me, Torriq and Summahr Klein! 👏 Great mahi, you two! You really got stuck in today and showed yourselves out there. So proud of you both!

You may have had one rough game today, but you all got stuck into it straight away, backed yourselves, and backed your teammates. That’s what makes this team so special. The teamwork was incredible from start to finish, supporting each other, encouraging each other and fighting for each other all game.

And you carried this win on your backs because WHAT A GAME!

Every single one of you should be incredibly proud of the hard work, commitment, determination and effort you have put in all season to make this happen.
