A little sneak peek into the excitement that will be happening at All Stars Sports Night for one of our challenge rounds.
Our round partner Technogym have supplied the rower, now it’s your time to show us what you’ve got 🔥
Head into reception, give it your best to 500m and put your name + time up on the leaderboard!
Who knows, you may just be our next Aimee Fisher! 😉

Introducing our first All Stars Sports Night Fundraiser athlete👇
She's one of NZ's most accomplished sprint kayakers. A gold medallist, two-time Olympian (2016 and 2024) and World Champion in 2021.
Most importantly, she's a key part of our home here 🧡
Her pictures are on the walls, she's training in the gym, and she's inspiring the next generation of athletes across our athlete development programme.
How it works:
➡️ On 6 November, you get to watch her go head-to-head with a challenger from the crowd
➡️ The round includes a quick-fire Skillrow challenge up on stage
Partnering with the challenge round are our mates at Technogym, supplying the rowing machine that'll test who's really got the legs (and lungs) for it.
Aimee's a reminder that you don't need a big city to achieve big things. Her roots are right here in Hawke's Bay, and our facility is where young athletes just like Aimee with big dreams get to train locally.

This is what we're fighting for.
Thousands of people across Hawke’s Bay have a connection here in some way or another.
On 6 November, we're hosting our first-ever fundraising event - All Stars Sports Night.
As a charitable trust, every dollar raised will go straight back into keeping the programmes and facility our community rely on up and running.
Help us support tomorrow's champions while enjoying and epic night of entertainment.

Another everyday champion showing us what’s possible when you put your mind to it!
Cathie. In her 50’s, Cathie decided it was time to get fitter after her 80-year old father in-law left her for dust while walking up a steep Dunedin hill.
She stared slow. The gym a couple of times week, a few lengths in the pool.
In her 60th year, she flagged the gym side and decided to get better at swimming. Making the goal of swimming 60 lengths of a 25m pool on her 60th birthday.
That was the beginning of a tradition 🎂
Now, 16 years later, despite health setbacks, cancer treatment, and a pandemic, she’s continued swimming her age in lengths each year.
“Each time I had a health glitch it was so good to be able to get back into the water again. For me it is a safe place to exercise. No matter how I feel prior to a swim, I feel so much better having done it – joints freer, so many muscles warmed up, skin glowing – ready to start the day.”
This year, for her 76th birthday she completed 38 lengths of 50 metres (the equivalent of 76 glorious laps of a 25 metre pool).
You are an inspiration, Cathie. Most people just enjoy a cake for their birthday… 😂💙
