A weekend to remember at Hastings Golf Club ⛳️🏆
A look back at the 2026 Hastings Masters Open, which produced a fantastic weekend of golf, great scoring and plenty of memorable moments around the club.
Stuart Duff claimed the Hastings Masters Open title in impressive fashion, backing up an opening-round 69 with a second-round 71 to finish at 4-under par, 140 for the weekend. His consistency across both days proved the difference, eventually finishing five shots clear of the field.
Pete O’Donnell made a strong challenge after matching Stuart’s opening 69, before a second-round 76 saw him finish runner-up on 145 (+1).
In the Women’s event, Di Syer produced rounds of 79 and 73 to finish at +4 and take the title ahead of Heather Keefe (+11) and Lisa Herbert (+13).
There was plenty of competition across the Stableford divisions too. Pete O’Donnell won the Men’s 40–54 division with 77 points, Michael Bone claimed the Men’s 55+ division with an excellent 80 points, while Anna Wood won the Women’s Stableford with 70 points.
The weekend also included a Best Ball pairs competition, with Chris Martin and Pete O’Donnell combining brilliantly to take the title with 93 Stableford points across the two rounds.
A huge congratulations and thank you must also go to Ben and the entire greens team. The condition of the golf course received fantastic feedback from our visiting players throughout the weekend, and it was a great reminder of how fortunate we are to play this course every week.
The action off the course was just as well received! Saturday night’s lamb and all the sides certainly seemed to go down well, so a big thank you to Liz and our F&B team for looking after everyone and helping make the weekend such a success.
Thank you to everyone who played, supported and helped deliver the inaugural Hastings Masters Open.
We’re already looking forward to doing it all again. 🏆⛳️
