We’ve all been there. That sinking moment at a clinic when everything starts to go wonky. Whether your horse is struggling, you’re overwhelmed or you’ve discovered that the teaching method is just not a good fit for you, in the moment, it can be really difficult to know what to do.

In this episode we discuss:

👉 The difference between boundaries and barriers (and how they apply in learning situations)

👉 What to do when things go wonky and you realise you’re not in the right place for you (I share my own clinic experiences to this effect!)

👉 What it means to be teachable and take responsibility for your own “stuff” (which applies to both coaches and students)

👉 How the different nervous system states affect our capacity to learn"

Just getting started at the Maryland clinic at Gentle Giants Horse Rescue. Robyn is starting out the day with some orienting and heart breathing to get everyone out of their heads and into their bodies and to settle their energy.

Welcome to come and join us ...'Brush off the dust' This Sunday (11th) 1PM-4PM. Building on chilling out, being present, a little ground work, lead out introduction to obstacle course, and to finish off a ride out will be at a walk, down, along, back and up... about 6ks. Opportunity for faster ride home for those who want to.
