Looking for a fun outdoor school holiday activity? Join us at Huntly Community Riding Centre for a hands-on, one-on-one introduction to horses and ponies!

Children will spend time with Mocha & Charlie, enjoying:

🐴 Grooming and handling
🐴 Leading the ponies through obstacles
🐴 Building confidence around horses and ponies
🐴 Finishing with a lead-rein ride, or an off-lead ride for confident riders at the instructor’s discretion

Perfect for beginners, with each session tailored to your child’s confidence and experience.

🌸 Quick Spring Update from HCRC 🐴

With spring just around the corner, the grounds are finally starting to dry out after a very wet July and August!

🐴 Coming up in September:

• Pony sessions will be running again
• We’ll have something planned for the school holidays
• We’ll be looking at group and private lessons for riders with their own horses

🌿 Once the grounds have dried out a little more, we’ll also open up the XC/Hill Paddock for riders wanting to get some fitness into their horses.

🐴 The arena and obstacles area are now available for bookings again.

As a biosecurity precaution due to Strangles, the yards have been temporarily taped off and are unavailable for use. This will also give us the opportunity to tidy up and carry out some maintenance around the yard area.
