Right in the heart of Invercargill, this 18-hole parkland course is a true southern gem.

Tree-lined fairways, practice green, golf shop, plus a fully stocked bar and food on club and competition days 🏌️‍♀️⛳️🏌️‍♂️ This is a course that requires a good straight drive off the tee on a majority of the holes followed by an equally straight shot to the green. A relatively short course, it has flat, narrow fairways with bunkers on most holes. It has a well-appointed clubhouse with easy parki

You know spring is finally here (hopefully) when the daffodils start popping up around the club gardens 🌼

Thanks to Janet Mauheni for planting these - a lovely touch this time of year.

Nine is fine⛳

Love your Saturday golf but don’t always have the time for 18? Nine holes might be just the ticket.

Our Saturday 9-hole competition is open to men and women, teeing off an hour after the 18-hole field. It’s a great option if you’re short on time, easing back into golf, or just want a more relaxed round without giving up your competition day.

Same good company, same chance to stick around after for food, raffles and a drink - just less time on the course to get there.

Nine is fine. Come and give it a go this Saturday 🙌🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Our members were out in full swing today, making the most of this glorious sunshine ☀️

Hopefully it gives the course a much-needed chance to dry out before the next round 🌧️⛳️

After all this rain, we’re hoping for a change in fortunes this week 🌦️

Our course is currently under a bit of water, but we’re hoping the slightly milder weather over the next couple of days will provide some much-needed relief and get us all back out golfing again.

👉 Coming up, weather and course conditions permitting:

⛳ Saturday 5 September
New World Windsor Monthly Medal, men’s and women’s grades
Tee-off: 11.45am

⛳ Sunday 6 September
Mixed Foursomes has been postponed until Sunday 13 September

⛳ Tuesday 8 September
Women’s LGU Medal & Putting is scheduled to go ahead.

⛳ Thursday 10 September
Women’s Handicap Foursomes has been cancelled due to course conditions.

We’ll keep everyone updated on course conditions as the week progresses. Fingers crossed for a little less rain and a lot more golf! 🤞

The course reopens tomorrow. Due to the wet conditions, no carts or motorbikes at this stage.

Thanks for your cooperation ⛳

Happy weekend, golfers. Looks like a wet one out there, so rug up and get amongst it if you can.

The course isn’t quite blooming yet, but it’s not far off. Won’t be long until QPGC is back in full spring glory ⛳🌸

Quick reminder: tomorrow’s Saturday Stableford tees off at 11.30am — the last weekend before start times shift back to 11.45am. Open to both men and women, so come along and join in.

👉 And if you haven’t ordered your club jersey yet — orders close Friday 4 September. Pop into the Golf Shop to add your name and size, or email [email protected].
