π On This Day β August 26, 1967 π
58 years ago, Burt Munro made history. At age 68, he set a world record on his self-modified 1920 Indian Scout, which was 47 years old at the time, reaching an average speed of 183.586 mph in the Flying One Mile Class S-A 1000cc.

After a recalculation, this was officially corrected to 184.087 mph β a record that still stands today π₯
