Te Kamo Scout Group

Te Kamo Scout Group There are five Scout sections: Keas school yrs 1-3 [ages 5-8], Cubs school yrs 3-6 [ages 8-10], Scout All our Leaders are trained volunteers aged 18+.

To be a Leader you need to have read the SCOUTS New Zealand "An Introduction to SCOUTS New Zealand for Leaders"publication and completed the assessment with your Group Leader, and have been issued with a Warrant. Our groups focus on a variety of outdoor activities. In addition to regular Scout Groups, some groups are Air Scouts and some are Sea Scouts offering either specialised aviation or water activities. Our learning programmes complement learning at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, and in the workplace. We provide our young people with access to the highest quality training and leadership opportunities, equipping them with vocational experience and invaluable transferable skills. The aim of the Association is to encourage the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development of young people.

Last night, our Kea’s finally had their CASTLE WAR!! 🏰⚔️

This was a battle they had been eagerly anticipating for weeks, and it definitely lived up to expectations!

As the dust settled and the last ping pong ball was launched, the castles eventually crumbled under a pile of very enthusiastic Kea’s… and the epic battle was finally done! 😂

What an awesome evening filled with laughter, strategy, flying ping pong balls and plenty of castle destruction! 💥🏰
