🍊⛳ CITRUS OPEN 2026 – FINAL RESULTS ⛳🍊

A huge thank you again to everyone who entered and supported the Citrus Open this year. Here are the final results and prize winners from another great weekend at Kerikeri Golf Club.

The scoring certainly showed just how challenging our championship course can be! Across the field, the average net score per round was:

Division 1 – Net 80.0
Division 2 – Net 81.4

And that was in perfect golfing conditions, with placing on fairways only! 😅⛳

While our numbers were much lower than previous years, we still believe the Citrus Open represents incredible value — $100 for three rounds of golf, including the practice round and a meal, on our championship course, with a fantastic prize table on offer.

It would be hard to find many better-value Men's tournaments in New Zealand.

Congratulations to all our prize winners, and another massive thank you to our sponsors for helping make the tournament possible.

A huge congratulations to Kameron Clarke, who fired a 36-hole gross score of 148 to win the 2026 Citrus Cup! 🏆👏

🍊⛳ CITRUS OPEN – DAY TWO DRAW ⛳🍊

Here we go — Day Two of the Citrus Open tomorrow, Sunday 6 September!

The draw is attached, with play getting underway from the 1st and 10th tees at 9:00am.

A reminder to please register at the Golf Shop at least 20 minutes before your tee time and help us keep up a good pace of play throughout the day.

🏆 Final day means Prizegiving!
Once all cards are in and results have been finalised, we’ll get underway with the Citrus Open prizegiving.

Please make sure your scorecards are correct, legible and signed before handing them in, and remember to have one person from your group return all the cards to the Golf Shop.

🍊⛳ CITRUS OPEN – DAY ONE DRAW ⛳🍊

The draw is out for Day One of the Citrus Open tomorrow – Saturday 5 September at Kerikeri Golf Club.

A few important things for all players:

⏱️ PACE OF PLAY
We’re aiming for rounds of 4–4½ hours maximum. A Course Marshall will be out keeping an eye on pace. If your group falls behind, you’ll be asked to pick up the pace.

As this is a Net tournament, if there’s any doubt about where your ball may have finished, please play a provisional ball rather than having to return to the tee.

⚠️ Picking up on a hole will disqualify you from the Gross and Net competitions, although you’ll still be eligible for the Stableford.

☕ FOOD & DRINK
The kitchen will be open from 7am for breakfast and coffee. Food and drinks will also be available near the 10th tee during the day.

After your round, each group will receive a complimentary players platter.

🏌️ REGISTRATION
Please register in the Golf Shop at least 20 minutes before your tee time. Your scorecard will be provided once registration is complete. If you still need to pay, bringing the correct cash would be appreciated.

✍️ AFTER YOUR ROUND
Please make sure all scorecards are correct, legible and signed. Nominate ONE person from your group to take all four cards to the Golf Shop.

Please DO NOT enter your own scores.

When the cards are handed in, your group will receive a ticket for your complimentary platter — don’t lose it!

🎟️ MEMBERSHIP RAFFLE – $20
Our annual raffle is running again, with the winner receiving a year’s membership at Bay of Islands Golf Club – Kerikeri.

🏆 DAY ONE PRIZEGIVING
We’ll present the Daily Stableford and Novelty prizes after play, plus a Lucky Draw prize — you must be present to win.

Keith Hinton – RIP

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that Keith Hinton passed away on 29 August 2026.

Keith was a true fixture at Kerikeri Golf Club and one of those people who simply made the place better. With his great sense of humour, positive outlook and willingness to help wherever needed, he was truly the salt of the earth.

His contribution to the Club went far beyond the many volunteer jobs he took on. Keith’s personality, humour and presence brought a smile to those around him, and he will be greatly missed by our golf club family.

Our deepest sympathies go to Keith’s family and friends at this sad time.

Rest in peace, Keith.
