Academic Schools Rugby League Team of the Year 🏉📚

Congratulations to Kylah Edmonds (Mako #92) who has been selected in the Schools Rugby League Team of the Year! Selected from players who competed in either Schoolboys or Schoolgirls Cup Rugby League Competitions! Kylah was one of only 13 players selected from across the entire competition!

Kylah's commitment to her academics has seen her maintain very high levels of academic success across Year 11 and 12, early attainment of her Hospitality qualifications while also gaining a Certificate 3 in Fitness.

We are incredibly proud of Kylah's success and we wish her all the best as she graduates from Marsden State High School! 🙌

Good luck to our Opens Rugby League Excellence Program girls who are taking on The Hills Sports High School in today’s National Final at CBUS Stadium, Robina.

The game kick off at 2:00pm and will be aired on Channel 9GEM for all to view.

Awesome work Miss Solomon and girls on a great performance, defeating Marymount College 20-8. Well done!

A shoutout to the year 7 and 8 Div 1 girls who also played in the Grand Final, and just went down to Keebra Park SHS, 12-4.

Today is Matt's last day as the Head of Excellence, and as a Mako, as he becomes the head of Pathways for the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Thank you for everything you have contributed into making Marsden an excellent school. Both staff and students are tremendously grateful for the hardwork and dedication you've shown for the last 8 years.

We wish you the best of luck in starting this awesome new chapter of your life. You'll be missed here at Marsden, but we look forward to seeing you excel in your new role at the Phins.
