Next up is a Try-Out afternoon, just before the season starts. If you've ever wanted to give bowls a try, or you want to brush up on your skills, come along from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday 27 September!

Opening Day follows on Saturday 3 October, 1.30pm.

Get ready! Thirsty Acres' meat raffle nights benefit our club this month. The first day for this is Thursday 6 August.
Tickets are $10 each, on sale from 5pm and drawn at 7pm. Join the community for a drink, dinner or dessert - or all three! - and have a fun evening with the thrill of winning one of twenty packs of meat from our own Darfield Village Butcher!

This week we farewelled Life Member Dave Knight. Dave served the Club on the Match Committee and as President, and, until his passing, was Patron of the Malvern Sub Centre. He was much respected as a bowler and as a person.

Another great Closing Day celebration! The Men had 3 wins to 2 in the Men versus Women play-offs, so won the Jenkins trophy, but the Women gained the Harrison trophy by winning the Rinks game.
The bowling was followed by a relaxed social time and a pot luck meal, and then the presenting of the prizes by our Patron Betty Henderson.
