We're pretty happy to see the brand new Ho**er Bridge reopen today. We've missed the views from Ho**er Lake, and we're really looking forward to getting up the Ho**er Valley for adventures like Sefton Biv, The Footstool and our favourite alpine climb, the Mount Wakefield Guideless Buttress.

Meet Kerry. He's been our Glacier Guide for a few years and is one of the few who have had the privilege of growing up in Mount Cook Village. Kerry's keen eye is always finding things that were previously lost to the ice. Recently, he's made someone's day. Laura from Ireland dropped her phone into a deep moulin back in May 2025 during our Tasman Glacier Helihike. Kerry's keen eye spotted it, along with Laura's driver's license last week, lying at the bottom of a crevasse. We're stoked to say that Laura and her phone will be reunited after over a year apart! And it still works! Great stuff, Kerry!
