Nothing better than putting in rounds all morning, staying off the phone, then finally checking it for the first time today and seeing your nephew has gone out there and got the win.

ROAD TO THAILAND — DAY 3
Day 3 and I’m slowly figuring out this whole content and editing s**t It’s harder than it looks trying to keep up with everything.
Regardless, I’m working. Putting the hours in and getting the weight down… although Uber Eats definitely isn’t helping.
Sparring tomorrow at Ōtaki SMT with Lycos. Time to get some rounds in.
Sh*t’s good. Can’t complain.

ONE STEP CLOSER TO GOLD
TeHokotuku Gardiner-Hokianga has just fought over in Kosovo at 3:40am NZ time and secured the win in his first fight! Well done also to Rene Gardiner-Hokianga and NZMF Blackgloves President Scotty, great coaches.
That means he carries on in the IFMA World Championships — one step closer to gold.
We are beyond proud of you, brother. Your hard work, discipline and determination are paying off.
Studying the rulesets endlessly. Training relentlessly. Monday to Saturday. 4am wake-ups, 11pm bedtimes. The mahi is showing, and now the world is getting to see what we already knew.
Keep being great. Keep learning. Keep becoming a better fighter every single day — inside the ring and out.
