While it has started getting cool, the course is in great condition and we have had full tee sheets over the long weekend, with visitors really enjoying our great course.
Some recent comments:
"these are the best greens I have ever played on, seriously unreal"
"you people have a bl$%dy good course"
"My goal is to play 100 courses before I can no longer play. So far I've played 75 different courses and this is the best one so far"
Visitors have compared our course quality with Paraparaumu Beach and Wairakei which is high praise indeed.
It isn't an accident, having a great course is a key pillar of our strategic plan. We have invested in a great greens team, good quality machinery, and a new approach to managing greens thatch, all of which you can experience for yourself by coming out and playing.

Course Status: Now OPEN.
Bookings required for the next week as we are very busy. Bookings online recommended as we may not be able to get to phone calls quickly.
Thanks to our magnificent course team and the biggest group of volunteers we have seen in some time.

Course status update: closed Thursday.
While we have made a ton of progress, there is still a fair bit to do to make the course safe. We expect to open Friday.
Thanks to all volunteers, and our hard working Greens team.

Course Status Update: Wednesday 18th February: still CLOSED. We have cleared about half the course after the near cyclone on Sunday night and Monday, and hope we can get the rest done today. Course is closed because of dangerous conditions (broken branches, leaning trees, and tractors and vehicles on teh course for clean up). Updates will be made here, but we expect to open Thursday 19th February. Please check first!
You can always check course conditions on our website, or by calling the club and choosing option 2 to hear course status.
Our thoughts are with our sister clubs who were more badly impacted than us: Foxton Golf Club, Rangitikei Golf Club, and Marton Golf Club that we know of, there may be more.

Levin Golf Club is CLOSED following the severe storm on February 15. At this stage Moutere Road is blocked by a downed tree; and there is no access to the course.
Our Course Manager has been able to get there by 4WD and is assessing on course damage.
Power is out on Moutere Rd.
Do not attempt to access the Golf Course until advised it is safe to open.
