Hugh hall round 1!

Our TopGlass Ltd Senior A side came away with an outright/first innings win in what was a fantastic 2 days of cricket.

While we celebrated Thomas Morgan & Locky Spring bringing up 100 Senior A games, it was the icing on top to finish up with both first innings and an outright win.

We saw some exceptional bowling from all our boys, and it was special to see the defending champs provide a performance like that first game up of the campaign.

The boys will go back to the white board in the coming week to prepare for their next match against Levin Old Boys.

Points received from the match:

Max bowling points - 4
Batting points - 3
First innings points - 5
Outright points - 3
Total - 15

Well done boys.

A new season starts and what better what to get the Hugh Hall defence underway than with a home game vs last year’s finalists Kapiti Old Boys Cricket Club.

📍 Where: Weraroa Domain
⏰ First ball: 11:00am
🏏 Matchup: TopGlass Ltd Weraroa Senior A v Kapiti Old Boys

This weekend brings an extra special milestone for two of our own, with Thomas Morgan and Locky Spring bringing up 100 Senior A games for Weraroa! ⚫️⚪️

A century of Senior A games is no small feat. It represents years of commitment, countless hours spent in the nets, battles in the middle, and a willingness to stand up for the heron season after season. These are the milestones that reflect what club cricket is all about, loyalty, passion, resilience, and pride in the badge you wear.

Lads congratulations from everyone at Weraroa and the wider supporting community! Go well and enjoy the moment!
