Unfortunately Gloria and John couldn't quite manage to get that third victory which would have seen them qualify.

Well done Gloria and John. One win from two games on the first day of the National Champion of Champions Mixed Pairs.

The Men's and Women's Development had a training session on Monday evening at Waikanae Bowling Club. There were 38 participants who attended and several others who had contacted to say they couldn't be there for other reasons. After some on the green time, we had the privilege to have Stacey and Scott have a conversation about their preparations for their successful campaign in the National CoC pairs.

It was very encouraging to see so many there and the interest from our Development players to improve their game. The future of our Men's and Women's Development players looks very promising.

There's more great news for Bowls Kapiti Coast. Hard on the heels of the magnificent win by Stacey and Scott at the Nstional C of C Pairs, comes the news that Raumati Bowling Club star Lisa White has been selected in the New Zealand team for the Hong Kong Classic!

It's just reward for Lisa's perseverance and her outstanding results.

At the National Champion of Champions Women's Triples finals starting today, Kapiti will be represented by this Champion team from Raumati.

The Centre wishes Audrey, Rochelle and Michelle all the best.

Training for men and women development players. 1-8 year bowlers. This will be held at Waikanae BC on 31st August from 5-30pm until about 7-00. All development players are welcome to attend . If you want to be considered for the Development rep teams or want to know more about it. Anyone can attend in wanting to know more to improve your game.
