🌸🏐SPRINGTIME TOURNY 2026… YOU WERE A VIBE☀️🎉

Sunshine ✔️
Netball ✔️
Big sideline energy ✔️
Spot prizes ✔️
Laughs ✔️
Good vibes ALL DAY ✔️

What an awesome way to wrap up our netball season!

A massive mihi to all the teams who rolled into the Mighty Horowhenua ready to play. Whether you came from just down the road or travelled from further afield, thank you for spending your day with us 🫶🏽

And we know teams don’t magically appear at tournaments. Behind every team are the coaches, managers, parents, whānau, sponsors and supporters doing the fundraising, organising, driving, feeding, washing uniforms, sorting gear and getting everyone where they need to be. We see you! You are the G.O.A.T 👏🏽

To our umpires, BIG UPS! 💙 No whistle = no game, and we appreciate every one of you who helped keep the courts humming.
To our , you were the MVPs of the day. From your willingness to help cover games, to selecting spot prize recipients, to your positive vibes throughout the day. You all rock 💃

There were winners 🏆, there were close games 😬, there were laughs 😂, there were tired legs 🥴 and we're pretty sure there were a few lost drink bottles by the end of it 👀😅

But most importantly, there were memories being made.

That’s what Springtime tournament is all about. Good netball, good people and one last chance to enjoy the game we love before we call time on the season.

And we can’t forget Rebecca from ACC NetballSmart, who was out amongst the action throughout the day! 🧡🏐 Rebecca had our teams getting involved in the NetballSmart BINGO challenge and warmup, with some pretty cool prizes up for grabs.

A massive shoutout to everyone who got involved, and congratulations to our BINGO winners! 🎉 The smiles in the photos say it all. 😍

Thanks Rebecca for bringing NetballSmart along to Springtime and adding another bit of fun to the day, while sharing those important messages around keeping our players strong, safe and enjoying their netball. 🧡🙌🏽

NHC would like to give a huge THANKS to our sponsors and supporters throughout fhe season and tournament. We value your contributions.

Thank you all for an EPIC day!

🌸☀️ Springtime tourny in the Nua, DONE & DUSTED for 2026 🏐💙
See you in 2027!

🏐Lower North Island Secondary Schools Tournament🏐

A huge mihi to three of our kura tuarua (colleges) who competed at the Lower North Island Secondary Schools Netball Tournament!

Amongst 38 teams in the B Grade, our 3 kura represented themselves and our wider netball community with pride and mana.

🏅 WRM Taiohi – 4th
🏅 Horowhenua College – 7th
🏅 Waiopehu College – 27th

A massive shoutout to all the coaches, managers, whānau, supporters and sponsors who helped make the week possible. Tournament weeks take a whole crew behind the scenes in the lead up to and during the week and that tautoko allows our rangatahi to get out there, compete and represent their kura. They have an opportunity to be seen by talent scouts from the Netball Central Zone.

A special mihi also to our very own Netball Horowhenua committee member and qualified umpire, Chanelle Golding, who represented our centre on the whistle, umpiring throughout the week. 👏🏽🏐

These young ladies are not only amazing players,
they are great friends and role models. Each team made efforts to tautoko and watch each other's games and wish each other luck. Netball is more than a game, it is a place to build wonderful friendships.

Awesome to see our local players, coaches and officials representing netball on the wider stage.

We are so proud of you all 💜

Ka mau te wehi koutou katoa! 💙❤️🏐

Whether they’re bringing the heat 🔥 or the storm ⛈️, one thing’s for sure, these teams are lining up to give us some GREAT netball!

Our premier teams have battled it out all season and now it comes down to this. Three grades. Three finals. Three champions to be crowned. 🏆

Who’s taking home the bragging rights? 👀
