Who decided you have to have your s**t together all the time anyway? 😆

Seriously.

You don't have to have all the answers.
You don't have to have a plan.
You don't have to be okay every day.
You don't have to know exactly what you're doing.

You get to be human.

And maybe that's enough.

21/08/2026

So, what is Being You actually about?

Well… it’s not about becoming the best version of yourself.

Because honestly, I'm not sure I even like that idea.

It can start to feel like we're another project to work on. Another thing to improve. Another version of ourselves we need to become.

Being You is different.

It’s about getting curious about who you are underneath the expectations, the shoulds, the noise and all the roles you've collected along the way.

It’s about being a little more honest with yourself.

A little more courageous.

A little less concerned with doing life “right”.

It’s about authenticity. Connection. Courage. Simplicity.

And sometimes…

going a little rogue.

Not becoming someone else.

Just getting a little closer to you.

Come as you are.
Leave closer to yourself.

Welcome to Being You. 🩵

Five days.

A room full of strangers.

And then, something shifted.

This week I had the privilege of training one of the most incredible groups of humans. I watched people find their voice, challenge beliefs they'd carried for years, step to the edge of their comfort zones, break unresourceful patterns, and leave closer to themselves than when they arrived… ready to go out and help others do the same. ✨

The greatest privilege of this work isn't standing at the front of the room.

It's having a front-row seat to people discovering their own strength… and choosing to use it to help others.

To every single person who showed up with courage, curiosity, and an open heart... thank you.

You reminded me, yet again, how important this work is.

Keep backing yourself.
Keep going rogue.
Keep being unapologetically you.

The world needs more people living from their own strength and creating a ripple of collective healing. 💚

A little reintroduction... 👋

Kia ora, I'm Jordan.

Coach. Guide. Facilitator. Full-time rogue.

I blend my background in mental health, life coaching, human behaviour and psychology with a no-fluff, deeply human approach to growth.

But what really drives my work is this...

Being You isn't about becoming a better version of yourself.

It's about stripping away everything that was never you in the first place, so you can live from your own strength.

Because I believe that when we live from our own strength, we change how we show up in the world.

And that's how collective healing begins.

Not through force.
Not through fixing.
But through authenticity and alignment.

For too long we've been taught to become more.

Be more.
Do more.
Achieve more.

I'm more interested in helping people remember who they already are.

To cut through the noise.
Reconnect with what matters.
Trust themselves again.
And take bold steps toward a life that's theirs... unapologetically.

Whether I'm coaching one person, facilitating a workshop, or sharing a reflection here, my hope is always the same:

To create a space where you can reconnect with yourself, embrace your humanity, and leave with a little more clarity, courage, and self-trust than you arrived with.

Come as you are.
Leave closer to yourself. 🤍

If that's the kind of space you've been looking for...

Welcome.

I'm so glad you're here.

As Matariki rises, may we take a moment to pause. ✨

To honour where we've been.
To appreciate where we are.
And to remember that perhaps growth isn't about becoming someone new...

It's about coming home to ourselves.

Mānawatia a Matariki. 🤍

Everyone Has Mental Health - Let’s Talk About It 14/02/2026

Everyone has mental health - but we don’t always talk about it like we all do.

This month, I’m doing the push-up challenge to support the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand and raise awareness about mental health 💪 On the surface, it may look like a fitness goal, but it’s not really about fitness at all. It’s about normalising conversations that many of us still hesitate to have. 💬

If someone pulls a muscle or breaks an arm, we ask what happened without thinking twice. But if someone says they’re feeling anxious, or starts crying, it can suddenly feel awkward. That hesitation doesn’t come from truth; it comes from stigma.

Everyone has mental health. 🧠 All of us have good days and harder days.

Talking about it shouldn’t be reserved for crisis moments; it can live in everyday conversations, in ways that are human, safe, and real.

I wrote a longer reflection about why this challenge matters to me and the work I care about. If you’d like to read it, it’s here: https://www.beingyou.nz/everyone-has-mental-health-lets-talk-about-it

And if nothing else, let this be a small reminder to check in with yourself and the people around you. Conversations, connection, and genuinely listening can make a real difference. 💚

Everyone Has Mental Health - Let’s Talk About It It’s about changing the way we talk about mental health - and recognising that healing happens collectively, one conversation at a time.

Why the Best Leaders Start With Their Nervous System 10/02/2026

Your team feels your state before they hear your words.
Most leadership training focuses on what you do. Far less attention is given to the internal state you bring into the room. Yet your nervous system quietly sets the tone for every conversation, decision, and relationship before you say a word.
When leaders learn to regulate themselves, they don’t just perform better, they create calmer teams, clearer thinking, and cultures where people can genuinely thrive.
I’ve written a new piece on why your nervous system might be your greatest leadership advantage, and how to use it intentionally. 💙

Why the Best Leaders Start With Their Nervous System The state you bring into a room silently sets the tone before you say a single word. If leadership is influence, then your nervous system is your most powerful and overlooked leadership tool.
