Rarotonga has never felt like just a holiday to me. It’s where I breathe a little deeper, slow down, refill my cup and somehow find my way back to myself.
Some places are beautiful.
Some places feel like home.
And I am so ready to go home. ❤️🌴

“I’D LOVE TO TRY BOXFIT… BUT I NEED TO GET FIT FIRST.”
Ah yes.
Getting fit before coming to the place where we help you get fit. 😂
Please don't do that.
You don't need to be fast.
You don't need to be coordinated.
You don't need to know the difference between a jab, cross or whatever-the-hell-your-arms-are-doing.
That's what I'm here for.
BoxFit is a fun, full-body workout that builds fitness, strength and confidence — and every session can be adjusted to YOUR level.
Beginners are VERY welcome.
And because getting fitter shouldn't cost half your grocery budget:
🥊 Monday 5:45pm
🥊 Thursday 5:20pm
$15 casual
6 sessions — $60
11 sessions — $100

Don't wait until you're “fit enough.”
Turn up exactly as you are. We'll work on the rest.
Apparently it hit 40, and now suddenly EVERYTHING gets blamed on the metabolism.
“Can't lose weight.”
“Must be my metabolism.”
“Jeans are tighter.”
“Metabolism.”
“Ate half a cheesecake on Saturday.” ..still the metabolism, obviously.
But here's the thing.
Getting older doesn't mean your body suddenly becomes incapable of dropping body fat.
What can change is your muscle mass, hormones, sleep, recovery, stress, appetite and how much you move during the day.
And those things matter.
This is one of the reasons I'm such a pain in the arse about women, particularly through their 40s, perimenopause and beyond... lifting weights and protecting their muscle.
Muscle isn't just there to make your bum look good in jeans.
It's metabolically active tissue.
It helps maintain strength and function.
It supports bone health.
It improves how your body handles glucose.
And maintaining it becomes increasingly important as we age.
Then we add the other boring-but-effective stuff:
Eat enough protein.
Move your body.
Lift something heavier than your handbag.
Get some decent sleep when life/hormones allow it.
Use HIIT strategically rather than trying to punish yourself with endless cardio.
And stop expecting your body to transform because you ate salad twice.
Your body may just need a different approach than the one that worked for you at 25.
And THAT is something we can work with.
Your Coach, Coach P.
That’s actually pretty bloody cool when you think about it.
Another day to move your body.
Another day to get a little stronger.
Another day to learn something.
Fix something.
Try again.
Or just do a slightly better job than yesterday.
Sometimes progress is a massive win.
Sometimes it’s showing up when you couldn’t be arsed.
Sometimes it’s choosing the decent meal, doing the 20-minute workout, going to bed earlier, setting the boundary, or simply not quitting on yourself.
We spend so much time looking at how far we still have to go that we forget how lucky we are to have another day to actually GO.
So move.
Grow.
Learn.
Laugh.
Lift some heavy s**t.
And make something of today.
You got another opportunity.
Don’t overlook that.
Your Coach, P 🖤

WHY AM I TRAINING HARD… BUT NOT CHANGING SHAPE?
You’re training 4–5 times a week.
You’re sweating.
You’re sore.
Your watch has congratulated you approximately 47 times.
You’ve done squats, burpees, lunges, some weights and possibly something involving a resistance band you found in a drawer.
But your body isn’t really changing.
So naturally…
“Maybe I need to train MORE?”
Probably not.
Here’s the bit people often miss:
Exercising a lot and training with a purpose are not necessarily the same thing.
If your goal is to change your body composition...build muscle, reduce body fat and actually change your shape, there needs to be some structure behind what you're doing.
Progressive strength training.
Not just doing the same weights and reps forever. Your body needs a reason to adapt.
Enough protein.
You can't ask your body to build and maintain muscle and then give it three crackers and positive thoughts to work with.
Nutrition that matches your goal.
You can eat really nutritious food and still not be eating in a way that supports what you're trying to achieve.
A good mix of training.
Strength, HIIT, conditioning and general movement can all have their place. It's about putting them together in a way that actually supports your goal.
Recovery.
More isn't always better. Training is the stimulus — recovery is where your body gets the chance to adapt.
And finally…
TIME.
Give your body the right stimulus, fuel it properly, recover, progressively challenge it and then keep doing it long enough to let it work.
You don't necessarily need to train more.
You might just need to make the training you're already doing work together.
Don't just collect workouts. Have a plan.

PRIORITIES SHOW IN ACTIONS.
Not words.
Not intentions.
Actions.

NEVER TRIED METAFIT?
No equipment.
No fancy choreography.
No trying to remember which foot goes where.
Just you, your bodyweight, short bursts of hard work, recovery.
And the best bit?
You DON’T need to be fit to start.
You don’t need to keep up with anyone else.
You just work at YOUR level.
It’s short. It’s sharp. It’s challenging.
And yep... it works.
Come ready to sweat, surprise yourself and feel pretty damn proud when you're finished.
Never done Metafit before? Come give it a crack.
