The Labour Day long weekend is here and we are counting down the hours now until our next event.

Did you also know that Tuesday 27th October marks the 300th day of this calendar year? Where did that time go? It must mean that there are 62 days to go until Christmas Day.

A bit of a headwind on the way out and 'a nice tailwind back' for our 255 parkrunners and parkwalkers today, but luckily the rain stayed (mostly) away.

It was a rare parkrun without our Event Director Mark Malone, but thanks to Pete, Sebastian and Donald who stepped up to help with event set-up and closedown, and all our volunteers - shout out to Poppy who volunteered for the first time.

Results have been processed and should be with you shortly.

Stats for event 720.

There were 314 parkrunners on the field. Out of our 20 first timers to Lower Hutt, 12 of whom are debutants and hope to see you all again soon. 43 course PB's were also recorded - about 14% of the total participant count.
