Thanks to Linda Rawlins for writing the report for even 714.
As it marks the end of winter, the wind has come about this time around.
16 course PBs were recorded and 11 of our 17 first timers were parkrun debutants.
Also the mention of our 500+ parkrun milestoners in attendance. A key motivator to keep on doing your parkruns each Saturday.
Congratulations to all our milestone achievers

(Update: roles filled for tomorrow and pacer times filled)
Not long until parkrun and we are after the following roles to be filled from the post below.
If you can do any of the roles, which includes becoming our 23 min pacer that completes our pacer team line up. Please let us know.
Our only tutu day for this year is gone like a flash and our volunteer co-ordindator last week Geoff Ferry managed to get position number 22, with a time of 22:22 also wearing a tutu - what are the odds of this happening? Our next tutu day is in May 2027 and it is also the only tutu day for next year too.
The weather forecast this week is mainly fine with a chance of some northeasterlines, otherwise turning into a fine day. It is also our last winter parkrun of 2026, that means that spring is just around the corner.
For our volunteer roster this week, we are looking for the following vacant roles to be filled
- Finish Token Support (role filled)
- Report Writer (role filled)

Thanks to Liz Neill for writing the report for event 713.
As it is only our tutu day for this calendar year, there are more parkrun events yet to be established in the Wellington region. There are also challenges that can help entice parkrunners who cannot yet complete a full parkrun alphabet in New Zealand.
You can read Liz's report below
