This weekend, 10 incredible teams from TheHUB are heading to Palmerston North to compete at the Butterfly Effect Competition.
For many of these wāhine, this will be their very first time stepping onto the competition floor.
Over the past 16+ weeks, they have committed themselves to learning new movements, mastering new lifts, building confidence, and pushing through those dark places we all face when we test our limits.
We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of these wāhine. It takes courage, discipline, resilience, and a whole lot of hard mahi to step outside your comfort zone and back yourself.
Along the way, we've watched friendships grow stronger, seen each other through challenges, celebrated milestones, and created memories that will last long after the competition is over. That is what TheHUB is all about.
To our wāhine toa, this is your time to shine. Trust the work you've put in, back yourselves and your teammates, and most importantly... have fun while making unforgettable memories.

A true wāhine toa who is deeply respected and admired by us all.
An incredible mama to two very talented rangatahi, Robyn pours her heart into everything she does.
She dedicates countless hours to supporting her whānau, community, and the many organisations she is involved with. She is a loving wife, a strong leader, and a valued part of our HUB whānau, always finding ways to give back and uplift those around her.
Your growth and commitment over the years have been inspiring to witness, and it has been a privilege to be part of your journey.
