Another great Thursday night of basketball! The competition is heating up, and with the ladder taking shape, every game counts. 🔥

🏆 TAHI LEADING THE WAY!
No surprises here! Our young ones have been putting in the hard work — consistently training at the high school, some even playing Monday nights in preparation for Hoops Nations. It’s great to see that effort paying off on court, with experienced players like Jonty, Josh and Ryder helping guide and support the young fellas along the way.

SBC — SKILL, FRIENDSHIP & GOOD VIBES
SBC have been a delight to watch! A team of mates who are out there having fun, competing hard and showing they absolutely belong in this league. Keep bringing the energy, boys!

RUA — TEAMWORK MAKES IT HAPPEN
Rua showed their quality, coming through in the final quarter against SBC. A skilled team that plays together and makes sure their younger players get valuable time on court. Awesome to see!

TOTB vs TORU — EXPERIENCE vs ENERGY
TOTB and Toru gave us a close contest early on, but TOTB’s experience, composure and skill eventually proved too much as they took control and secured the win. Toru bring an atmosphere of their own — you can hear them before you see them! 😂 Cheering the good plays, laughing off the bad ones and always bringing the banter. They love launching from the three-point line, while Nathan continues to make his mark, securing another spot among the night’s top scorers!

Huge thanks to all our teams for another night of competitive basketball, sportsmanship and good vibes. All the best to the boys heading to hoop nations next week.

🏀💜 MIXED LEAGUE — WEEK 3 💜🏀

We’ve hit the HALFWAY MARK, WHĀNAU! Check out the results and updated ladder to see where your team sits!

SPLASH ARE STILL UNDEFEATED! 3 wins, 0 losses! Our reigning champs continue to show their experience, composure and patience. Teams have come close, but no one has managed to break their streak yet!

👀 Can anyone take them down?

WEEK 3 HIGHLIGHTS Arama dropping an incredible 59 points! Ulalei secured a strong 64–42 win over TOTB. Splash edged Minteeze by just ONE POINT — 46–45! Arama also led the three-point shooters with 4 threes!

Three weeks down, three to go! The competition is heating up, and there’s still everything to play for.

🏀 MEN’S LEAGUE — WEEK 2 🏀

Another great night of basketball is in the books!

Week 2 brought close games, big scoring performances and plenty of competition, with teams battling right through to the final buzzer.

There was plenty of intensity on court, but just as much laughing, banter and good vibes between the games.

Some great individual performances stood out tonight, with Nathan leading the way with 35 points for Toru, followed by Kareem with 29 for TOTB, while Xavier and Ryder both dropped 25 points for Rua and Tahi respectively. Ngarua also put up an impressive 23 for SBC.

And when it came to the three-point shooting, Lakyn was on fire with 6 threes, followed by his bro Ryder with 5 and Max with 4. Xavier and Josh both knocked down 3 each.

A massive thanks to everyone who continues to bring the right attitude to the court — competitive basketball, good sportsmanship, a bit of banter and plenty of laughs.

🏀 MIXED LEAGUE — WEEK 2 🏀

This would have to be one of our best Mixed League seasons yet. With all our teams so evenly matched, every game has been competitive right through to the final whistle, while still keeping the whānau vibes, laughs and good sportsmanship that make this league so special.

It’s been awesome seeing dads and daughters sharing the court, cousins going head-to-head, and different generations coming together to compete. There’s been plenty of cheering, plenty of laughs and, of course, a bit of friendly banter along the way!

Big props to our Ulalei whānau for an incredible comeback! After being down for most of the game, they fought their way back and secured the win with Riley hitting a buzzer-beating 3 to seal it! What a way to finish!

The ladder is already looking nice and tight, with Splash sitting at the top with two wins, but there’s still plenty of basketball to be played and absolutely nothing guaranteed.
The best part of this competition is seeing everyone competing hard, supporting each other and having a good time.

Now it’s time to rest, recover and get those bodies ready for next week — especially our 40+ players who may have discovered a few muscles they forgot existed!
