⚠️‼️ Hi everyone,
Due to the current cyclone conditions and safety warnings across Auckland, we have made the decision to postpone tonight’s Weymouth Cricket Club Prize Giving event.
The safety of our members, families, and wider community is our top priority, and we do not want anyone taking unnecessary risks to attend.
We understand this is disappointing, especially for such an important evening to celebrate the season. The event has now been rescheduled to Friday 17 April at 18:30, with the AGM to follow at 20:00.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to take the necessary precautions and use this time to prepare for the cyclone and ensure you and your families stay safe.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

We really appreciate Manurewa Local Board Member Marshal Walia taking the time to speak to our Club Chairman Karam and Jasmine Welch from Auckland Council. Our cricket spaces are community spaces and everyone benefits when they are taken care of! ☺️🏏
Great to connect with Jasmine Welch from Auckland Council today, discussing key issues raised by the Weymouth Sports Club.
Our parks and community spaces are the heart of our neighbourhoods, and it’s important we work together to ensure they are maintained and improved for everyone.
Appreciate the work Jasmine is doing and the open conversation—we move forward by listening, collaborating, and taking action for community

# # # 🏏 Weymouth Grumpy Old Men: Semi-Final Heartbreak
It wasn't to be for the Grumpy Old Men, who were knocked out in a hard-fought battle against the Pukekohe Metro Warriors.
* *The Batting:* Skipper Anil Sharma led from the front with a gritty *55 (45), supported by Amandeep Singh’s **44 (43)*.
