Some of our friends playing in the U16 boys team for Aotearoa Māori are doing one last final fundraiser to help get their boys over the line for their upcoming trip to Australia for the Tag World Cup.

We don’t want to see their hard work not come to fruition so if you are in a position to help them, please do!

They are doing a last raffle, 100 tickets @ $10 each - they have about 50 tickets left to sell.

If you’re keen to buy a ticket please comment below or message through and details will be sent - payment needs to be made ASAP.

🔵⚔️ COMMUNITY NOTICE ⚔️🔵

We have had over 600 kids register/turn up to musters or trials/enquire via text or email wanting to find a team for the child to play in. While we do our best to try and serve the community and place everyone in a team, with limited volunteers it has been a stretch this season.

We have 30 teams that are at full capacity and have been unfortunate this season in not being able to full-fill some of the grades many of our players wanted to play in. This notice is just to let the community know that the following grades HAVE NOT been successful in being complete due to either not enough players registered for that particular grade or no volunteer coaches to help the team for the season through to the tournament:
• U12 BOYS
• U13 MIXED
• U14 MIXED
• U15 GIRLS
• U15 BOYS
• U16 GIRLS

In the same breath, we are also very fortunate to have placed up to 400 players with many thanks going to the current volunteers who put their hand up to help this season wether it be coach, assistant coach or manager. The following grades are now COMPLETE & do not have space for any more players:
• U7
• U8
• U9
• U10
• U11 boys & girls
• U12 mixed
• U13 girls
• U13 boys
• U14 boys
• U14 GIRLS
• U15 mixed
• U16 boys
• U16 mixed
• U17 mixed

All of our team managers have been in touch with their successful players and team announcement posts will be posted this week.

We apologise if your child hasn’t been successful in being selected for a team this season, we have done our absolute best to try find everyone a home or search for new coaches etc but it has not been an easy task.

Appreciate everyone for their patience and commitment to wanting to play tag representing the mighty Central Knights 💙

‼️ COMMUNITY NOTICE ‼️

One more FINAL trial for the U16 boys grade is being held TOMORROW @ 3.30pm, Grey Lynn Park (top field).

Please note that there is a mini tourney and league training happening at the fields so there may be little carparks available in the main entrance so please give yourself some time to get a park and walk in.

Please remember your boots, tag shorts and water. Check in with Tash before you jump on the field.

This is for all boys who have already trialed or are registered but haven’t been to a trial or haven’t been to anything and wish to be selected.

‼️ COMMUNITY NOTICE ‼️

We are hosting 3 re-trials for the following grades THIS SUNDAY:

• U14 BOYS
• U16 BOYS
• U16 MIXED

If you missed out last weekend, this is your call back to attend in the hopes to be selected for those teams. All coaches will be in attendance to make their final selections for the team.

Please see the poster for all details regarding times.

For everyone else, we are slowly working our way through all the registered players/attendance lists from the musters/trials. We are hoping to have most of our team lists finalised by this week but please note there are a few delays with some teams. We will do our best to make contact with everyone as soon as we can regarding the outcome of their child and the team they have registered to muster/trial for.

As always, if you are in a position to volunteer your time this season as a coach/manager, please message through! We have a few teams that are seeking coaches & managers.

Junior grades tag muster today (U7 - U12)

If you are attending, please note a few things to help the process run smoothly:

• Ensure your child has tag shorts & boots - there will be no belts available to use
• if your child is already confirmed in a team, they do not need to turn up to musters today (confirmation by team manager)
• Please arrive at the time mentioned on the poster for registration - there is only 1 admin today so please also be patient

We will always try to do our best and have everyone placed into a team but please be mindful that unless we have more people volunteer to coach/manage, that does make it a bit harder.

If you are unable to make the muster today, please message through (not comment) the following details so if we have space in a team we can pass on their details to the manager:
• child’s first and surname
• child’s DOB
• parent/guardians cell phone number

Hari rā pāpā to all our dads, uncles, brothers, grandfathers, Māmā who play both roles and everyone else who step into guide, nurture and love all our rangatahi and tamariki.

Reminder that our trials for all age grades are now NEXT WEEKEND (Sept 12th & Sept 13th). See poster in previous post for times and days of your age grade you wish to muster/trial for.

If you have missed out registering online, please make sure you attend next weekend so you can register in person.

We have more tamariki registering then we do coaches/managers, so we are also on the hunt for volunteers for this season! If this sounds like you or you would like more info, please send through your details!
