About the role:
Commercial Fleet Service Wairarapa is looking for a Qualified Mechanic or 2nd year Apprentice to join our busy team, operating out of a brand-new purpose-built workshop in Masterton.
As the Kenworth and DAF dealer for the Wairarapa Region, we offer a rare mix of dealership backing and genuine variety. Our workshop features an internal COF lane, heavy vehicle wheel alignment capability, and a wide range of diagnostic equipment covering all makes and models.
OEM training will be provided, so you'll build manufacturer-level skills while working alongside a very skilled team. We're growing, and we're looking for someone who will be a good fit for the long haul.

-Time and a half for call outs and weekend work
-On call allowance, plus a vehicle

-A supportive, experienced team and a modern, well-equipped workshop
What we're looking for:
-Qualified Diesel Mechanic or 2nd year Apprentice
-Truck licences ideal, but not essential
-Experience with Kenworth, DAF, F/liner, Hino, Isuzu, Volvo, Scania and Cummins ideal, but not essential
-Available for on call duty every four weeks
--Able to work as part of a team
Punctual and reliable
-Flexible to work late when required
-Available for rostered Saturday mornings when required
