It was great catching up with Austin at his 21st last night. 🎉🥊

Hard to believe how quickly the years have gone. From having him walk through the doors of the boxing club as a young 10-year-old, to now celebrating his 21st — where did that time go?

We’ve shared plenty of boxing trips, fights, laughs and great memories over the years. It was awesome to catch up, celebrate the milestone and see the young man he’s become.

🥊🇳🇿 **WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – BROOKE MILLER SELECTED TO REPRESENT NEW ZEALAND!** 🇳🇿🥊

We are incredibly proud to announce that **Brooke Miller has officially been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 U19 World Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro!** 🌍🥊

This is a **massive achievement** for Brooke.

From boxers across New Zealand who were in contention for selection, **only THREE athletes have been selected to represent New Zealand at these World Championships — and Brooke is one of them!**

Even more special, **Brooke is the only female boxer selected in the New Zealand team.** 🇳🇿

Years of training, travelling, sacrifices, tough fights and countless hours in the gym have gone into reaching this level. Brooke has continued to test herself against some of the best boxers available, both here in New Zealand and internationally, and now she has earned the opportunity to compete on the world stage.

For a young boxer from Masterton Young Citizens Boxing Clubto be selected amongst just three New Zealand athletes for a World Championship is something our entire club and community can be extremely proud of.

This is not only a huge moment for Brooke and her family, but also for our club, **Masterton and the wider Wairarapa boxing community.**
