Spring racing is really getting exciting with one of our homebred PER INCANTO’S back at Sandown today.

Evaporate (x Savanna) has had just the one start this preparation for a very good 3rd in the Gr.2 PB Lawrence Stakes on the 15th August. Evaporate has trained on a treat and he is a very good chance in this race at Sandown.

The very promising Eurocanto (Per Incanto x Shespending) was a 2025 Darley Maribyrnong Trial Stakes Listed winner as a 2YO. This gelding has all the ability in the world to get back to winning ways. He starts for the Hayes Brothers in the Listed Mitchell McKenzie Stakes at Sandown.

LA born, reared and sold Desert Lightning starts at Sandown in the Gr.3 Chautauqua Stakes and Tardelli who LA shares in the ownership starts in the Gr.1 Proisir Plate at Ellerslie. Good luck to all the connections.

Locally in NZ, at Ellerslie two talented Per Incanto’s feature in Race 5. Odds and Ends (x Bits and Pieces) has had 5 x 2nds and is so close to winning and starts in Race 5 alongside fellow Per Incanto, First Up (x The Last Word).

Big LA interest on Sunday with our filly Luna Capella (Tivaci x Keke Star) resuming at Timaru in Race 6. Luna Capella was twice stakes placed as a 3YO and we are expecting a huge spring/summer from her. All the best of luck to her trainer, Anna Furlong and her racing syndicate.

We have had a good number of Little Brose foals in the last couple of days and we cannot wait to show them off in two weeks!

Super excited to have Jimmysstar back at the races today – taking on a classy field in the Gr.1 Memsie stakes at Caulfield 🏇

Jimmysstar (x Anniesstar) has been absolutely flying in his training and looks incredible and he will take his place in a star studded Gr.1 Memsie Stakes at Caulfield. Already the winner of 11 races and over A$8.8 million Jimmysstar will be looking to do what his brother did yesterday! All the best to Ciaron Maher and our fellow ownership group.

LA born and reared Rolling Magic (Per Incanto x Not a Jaffa) was very dominant first up a month ago and will be looking to reclaim his form at Rosehill in Race 9. Good luck to his breeders and part owners, John and Elizabeth Anderson.

Locally in NZ, LA born, reared and sold graduate Mi Bella will start in Race 3 at Riccarton for Anna Furlong. Mi Bella is a 6YO mare by Per Incanto x Los Vargas and finished off the previous season with two wins on the trot. A great chance to hit the new season running. Another LA reared graduate, the Per Incanto - Graeme John (x My Favorite Recipe) starts in the Open Hcp 1600m at Riccarton. A last start winner, Graeme John is a great each way chance.

A very successful Time Test – Proved, the winner of 6 of her 8 starts, including a Gr.3 starts today in the Gr.3 World Pool Courtza Stakes at Caulfield. This mare has the ability to cause an upset. Good luck to all her connections.
