💦 POOL PARTY FUNDRAISER – Let’s make a splash for Project Play! 💦

Kick off the school holidays with an epic Pool Party Fundraiser at Opal Hot Springs & Holiday Park! We’re turning up the heat with a day full of fun, food, and friendly competition – and all for a great cause!

📅 Sunday 13th April
⏰ 11AM – 3PM
💰 $5 entry per person – All entry sale proceeds go to Project Play at Matamata Domain playground upgrade

⚠ IMPORTANT: CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED ⚠
Our volunteers will be busy working behind the scenes, so all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. No drop-offs, please!

✅ Take on the massive inflatable obstacle course – who’s making it across? Huge thanks to SwimZone Matamata for lending us their inflatables! 🙌
✅ Show off your best bombs in the Matamata Manu Champs, judged by local legends Lennie & Humz Brooky!
💥 Manu Categories: Under 12s | 13-17 years | 18+
💥 $5 competition entry fee | Prizes for the winner of each category!

🍕🌭 FOOD TRUCK ALLEY – Come hungry!
Grab some kai from Pizza Hut pizzas, Nz Momo dumplings, The little Canteen hot dogs & loaded fries, Lulu's Soft Serve ice cream, and The Barista Bus for a caffeine or smoothy fix! ☕
(Food vendors are generously donating 10% of all food sales to Project Play! 💥)

Support Project Play at Matamata Domain at the Matamata Community Op Shop!

From Saturday, 5th April, Project Play will be running the Matamata Community Op Shop for the week! This is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise funds for the Matamata Domain Playground Upgrade, and we’d love your support.

How you can help:
• Donate your good-quality, unused items – drop them off to us at the shop!
• Shop with us and grab a bargain while supporting a great cause.
• Buy a raffle ticket – just $10 per ticket for a chance to win a $1,000 New World voucher!

We’re a small committee of just six volunteers, all juggling work and family commitments, so if you’d like to help out in the shop, we’d love extra hands! Let us know if you can spare a few hours.

Come down, say hello, and support the future of play in Matamata!

Kia ora - tomorrow night we have an end of season meeting, held at Merchant of Matamata @ 7pm - you are welcome to attend if you are wanting to know what running the club looks like or if you have feedback or are thinking of joining the Committee, becoming an Age Group Manager etc - come see what we do.
