Last Sat. A few of the club travelled over to Opotiki to get the toilet seat challenge up and running after 13 or so years! The aim was not to bring the toilet seat back, but Opotiki proved way to classy ! We all had a great arvo evening , the hospitality was amazing , Thankyou Opotiki. Next time might strategically be a cold winters Matawai Day, probably our only defense! Thankyou for making the trip over the Shaws, Tuapawa, Paula Lee, Hunter Johnson, Nick Barclay, Adeline Bordet, Rob Tomlinson, Ana Zaloumis.

We have had a very cosy Squash Club this week after Farmers Air sponsored a new heat pump! It was great timing as we have been competing in Club champs for the week. Finals night on Monday starting at 5pm, 7 games to be played. Should be an entertaining night!

These are pics of setting the scene and the people behind dressing up and down the hall and helping on the night. A big thanks to those who volunteer their time, money and creatively to put it all together! Robyn, Briar, Dawn, Rach, Adeline, Liv, Ana. June Tournament ended up being slightly later than planned! Even better turn out than the last one! So good to see the numbers in our we club. Tournament run by Jack Williams and Ben Parkes. Controversial leaders themed. Trump would have known a team named after him was the winner! Quite a few players missing for the pic. Thankyou to Jonty Le Lievre Affco for the sponsorship. Macca and her brother from another mother Jock got the spot prizes, cube roll.
