Taieri dojo is growing & so we will be expanding our classes in Term 4 to include Saturday training at Mosgiel Scouts Hall.

Monday & Tuesday training remains at Mosgiel Senior Citizens Hall., with extended training times.

Self defence is not just important for physical confrontation.

Self defence begins with standing up for who you are.

So many trust others ahead of themselves, instead of listening to their own inner voice.

Standing up against the crowd is not the easy path but for me, the only path. Do what is right for you.

We are all on our own journey to finding our true authentic selves. That can only come from taking the time to go within & then pay attention to what resonates, making room for our inner knowing to come to the fore & guide us.

The need for external validation opens the door for others to disrespect you & mislead you so use your discernment when following the advice of others.

Dont give your power away.

Self defence is standing up for who you are & what you know to be true for you.

Training two nights a week & in Term 4 Saturday training begins

As our dojo grows, we are now extending our session times to ensure everyone learns at their own pace.
We are also very happy to now include a weekly kobudo class as an option for all of our members.

Having just returned from a karate training event in Auckland I am once again available for energy realignment healing sessions, crystal therapy & intuitive guidance.
Healing is energy in flow, as is karate.
Both are expressions of my true authentic self.

I am also very grateful to my Sensei; Murray Shihan & Sennen Shihan for all their work to make the Auckland event such a success. Also appreciate that all the Okinawakan NZ Shibucho worked together to make this such a success.
I greatly enjoyed the training in Auckland & value the many positive experiences I had.

It was lovely to catch up with my extended Okinawakan family.

Looking forward to training with Takuma Sensei again very soon in Okinawa & also send my deep respect to Hanshi Nakamoto & all at Honbu Dojo, Okinawa.
