Driving Range Staff Wanted – Part-Time Position

Mount Driving Range

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and customer-focused team member to join our driving range team.

Position Details
• Part-time position – 25 guaranteed hours per week
• Liquor Licence/LCQ required
• Regular shifts:
• Tuesday: 12:00pm–7:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am–8:00pm
• Friday: 5:00pm–8:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am–1:00pm
• Additional hours available for functions and events when required.

About the Role
You will be responsible for helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers, while assisting with the day-to-day operation of the driving range and bar facilities.

The role will include:
• Customer service and assisting range users
• Bar service and responsible service of alcohol
• Opening and closing duties
• Keeping the range, bar and customer areas clean and presentable
• Assisting with functions and special events
• Supporting the wider team with general range operations

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
• Friendly, reliable and professional
• Confident dealing with customers
• Comfortable working independently
• Experienced in bar service and holds a current Liquor Licence/LCQ
• Flexible and willing to pick up additional hours for events
• Ideally has an interest in golf, hospitality or the local community

• Closure: Tuesday, 25 August 2026 from 9:30am until close
• Affected Facilities: Entire driving range and simulators
• Open Facilities: The main golf course and putting greens remain open as normal

We expect the driving range to reopen as usual from Wednesday, 26 August.

A huge congratulations to Ryan Fox on his stunning The Open victory yesterday morning! Foxy has been a regular to the Mount over a number of years including winning the prestigious Grant Clements Memorial tournament in 2010 and 2011. Interestingly enough his first professional win was the 2012 Jimmy Napier Classic Pro am run by our head pro Jimmy! This was held at the Martinborough Golf Club. On behalf of the club, and those that watched you walk the Mount Fairways in your amateur days, well done Foxy!
