Our Mid Week Ladies Tennis Tournament was a brilliant day - great weather, great games, and $500 raised for breast cancer.

Huge thanks to the committee for organising such a lovely event, to everyone who donated prizes and food, and to Heather Archer for jumping in to help in the kitchen. Your support made it all possible.

Our top senior female players competed at the Daniel Family Masters Tournament held at Tauranga Lawn Tennis Club … and
Alyse Thompson and Danielle Cooke took out 🥇1st place in the Div 1 Ladies Doubles!

Congrats to everyone who played and to the ladies for this epic result!

Our annual Winter Quiz Night is back, and this year we're bringing Après Ski to the club.

Think retro ski gear, mulled wine, Aperol Spritz, great food and a room full of friendly rivalry. Hosted by club comedian Sid Garde, it's set to be another fantastic night at the club.

🍽️ Chef Matt Bidois will be serving up a delicious food, including quesadillas, Mexican poutine and burrito bowls – the perfect way to fuel your team midway through the trivia.

🎾 Coaching & Club Update

We're pleased to announce that Luke Hamilton has been appointed Interim Head Coach at Mount Maunganui Tennis Club.

Luke will lead our coaching programme while the Club undertakes a considered review of its long-term coaching strategy. We expect this interim appointment to be in place for approximately 12 months, providing stability while we plan the next phase of our coaching programme.

Many of our members already know Luke through his work at the Club. He has built an excellent rapport with players and families, is an outstanding and actively competing player, and is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities enjoy tennis.

We're also pleased that Petra-Lee Anderson will remain in her Assistant Coach role, supporting Luke and the Club as we work towards our coaching objectives.
