A HUGE shout out to Lana who is our New World Mt Maunganui Sideline Hero this year! π
She was nominated for the incredible support and dedication she gives to her U11 rugby team and the wider Mount Maunganui Junior Rugby community. Going above and beyond, organising the team, keeping families connected, helping with jerseys and fundraisers, supporting through her own business, and making sure the boys feel celebrated with Player of the Day treats and special end-of-season certificates!

What a season from this awesome bunch. Theyβve worked hard, backed each other, played some brilliant rugby and finished it off in the best possible way!

Very generously donated by Israel Dagg and the Dagg family, this jersey was taken along to a reunion of the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup-winning squads earlier this year.
It features signatures from some absolute legends, including Dan Carter, Aaron Smith, Ben Smith, Julian Savea, Dane Coles, Piri Weepu, Joe Moody, Colin Slade, Aaron Cruden, Ali Williams, Andy Ellis and Wyatt Crockettβ¦ plus a couple weβre still trying to decipher! π
