𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝟖 | 𝐇𝐆𝐂 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑 | 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐄 𝐊𝐈𝐃𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒

What started off nice and calm…

Then the last 5 holes reminded us exactly where we were…..Cape Kidnappers.

The wind definitely decided to make an appearance, and the scores showed it!

With 61 players taking on the course, only 6 players managed to shoot their handicap or better. Safe to say, Cape had the final say today!

Another epic day on the HGC Tour, and a proper test from start to finish.

The race for the 𝗛𝗚𝗖 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 is heating up!

The course is 𝗧𝗕𝗖, but at this stage we’re projecting 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 to host the Shootout. We 𝗺𝗮𝘆 look at other course options before locking it in.

Haven’t made the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 yet? Maybe the game isn’t quite there… perhaps it’s time to 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮 𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘 𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟳! 💨

The wind was absolutely 𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, making for some tough conditions and some low Stableford scores! No one played to their handicap in these conditions! A few light showers came through, but thankfully the wind kept the worst of the rain away. 🌧️💨

A massive 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to the team at Puketitiri for putting on an awesome day, with the course in great condition and the hospitality absolutely spot on! 👏

That means the leaderboard is about to get 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗡 𝗨𝗣! 👀🔥

Players who have been sitting just outside the top spots can suddenly make a huge move, while those at the top will have to keep the foot down!
