A very special thank you to Tony and Janice Gargiulo, who stopped by to visit today.

Tony is a proud Nelson Rugby Football Club man, whose father, Ric, broke the hearts of the West Coast faithful, when he captained his Nelson provincial team to a famous Seddon Shield victory at Rugby Park, in 1954.

Tony was responsible for providing the 1950’s Seddon Shield footage that has been posted in the past on this page, so we are all truly grateful for his preservation of that precious footage, that we’ve been able to view.

Tony & Janice, thanks ever so much again for taking the time to stop by and spend some time with me, and for sharing some wonderful memories of rugby days gone by.
