NZ Enduro Day 3 10/03/2019

Kia Ora,
We regret to inform you that we will not be racing Wakamarina today.

Together with Toby Reid Helicopters we have been monitoring the aviation maps as well as on ground live reports from butchers flat and the other side of the ranges.
The problem is two levels of cloud cover lying against the ranges, so while there are patches of higher cloud and bits of blue around there is simply not a long enough and safe enough window to uplift ALL riders and doctors. We also need good flying conditions for evacuation purposes. A light front from the Kaikoura side is also adding to the band of clouds. Fosters clearing landing site sits at 1200m.

We are excited to still be able to put on a fun day of racing and festivities at Justin Leov’s Jentree MTB.
We will see you all there at 10 am. 1067 Taylor pass road, Blenheim. A couple km’s on gravel drive then driveway on the left.
see you there.
