We recently held our Prize Giving to celebrate the 2025–2026 season!

Congratulations to all our members on a great season. It’s been awesome seeing everyone enjoying their bowls, having fun, and to see our club growing.

Congratulations to our Club Triples teams on reaching the Waikato Champ of Champs Triples semifinals.

Well done to our ladies’ team Marcelle Waters, Megan Nepia, and Shylah Woodman, who put up a great fight before going down 18–13 to Morrinsville Bowling Club.

Congratulations also to our men’s team Brian Cathro, Te Whao Gregory, and Matt Montford, who gave it their all against Putāruru Bowling Club, finishing 20–9.

Both teams represented Ngaruawahia with pride and determination, and the club is extremely proud!

As the season comes to a close, our greens getting some well-earned TLC 🌱

Over winter, our bowling green has been carefully reseeded and will be left to rest and grow, ready for another fantastic season ahead. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the club throughout this year — from players and volunteers to supporters and sponsors.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back and hopefully some new players for the 2026/2027 season when things kick off again in spring!

Congratulations to Matty Litt for taking out the Waikato Northern Zone 1–8 Years Singles title for the second year in a row! A big well done also to Cory Harper, securing second place, and to Marcelle Waters for winning the women’s section.

Thank you to Taupiri for hosting, and to Rodney and Claire from Ngaruawahia for hosting on our green and providing a great morning tea. Big thanks to Raglan for organising the event.

Congratulations to Ngaruawahia for winning the Waikato Bowling Centre Northern Division Club Champion shield — our first win since 1998!
