📢 2023 Colgate Games Venue Announcement

Athletics NZ is pleased to announce that Palmerston North (Athletics Manawatu Whanganui) and Timaru (Athletics Canterbury) will be host venues for the 2023 Colgate Games.

The North Island Games at the Manawatu Community Athletics Track in Palmerston North is set to be staged on the 6-8 January. Meanwhile, the South Island Games will be held at Aorangi Park in Timaru the following week on 13-15 January.

Get Set - (for bubbles of 25)- Short Sharp meets to kick off the season

That's what we're planning on and hope to bring these to you very soon. If everything goes to plan it could be as early as this Saturday. (The Track & Field Committee are meeting tonight and we'll have an update immediately following the meeting).

It’s encouraging to see some restrictions being lifted within Auckland this Wednesday, as we navigate through these new phases of Level 3.

While Under Level 3 (Stage 1) most areas of AUT Millennium will remain closed to the public, from tomorrow (Wednesday 6 October), our stadium track will be open. A limit of ten per group will be able to meet on the track. Please remember to remain socially distanced from others who are not part of your group.

As we move through the alert levels, we will provide updates on our website and social media about how we are able to operate.
