🌟 Hokianga Junior Rugby Season is here🌟

Our junior rugby season will run as four awesome festival days across the Hokianga — a fun, whānau friendly way for all our tamariki to play, learn and enjoy rugby together.
📅 Festival Dates & Hosts
🏉 May 9 – Taheke
🏉 May 23 – Otaua
🏉 June 6 – Whirinaki
🏉 June 20 – Opononi (Final Festival + Prizegiving)
Each festival will include:
• A whakatau to set the tone for positive sideline behaviour and celebrate our community
• Rippa Rugby round robin (fast, fun games for our youngest players)
• Tackle clinic for 7–9 year olds learning safe technique
• First time tacklers game – open to all beginners
• Under 11 match Taheke vs Otaua
A few reminders for whānau:
• Rippa & first time tackle games are barefoot
• U11s play in boots
• Scores will be recorded this year, with points for W/D/L
