Dan Hill won the longest Kingfish for August. This month is a combo of all 3x fish in preparation for our Species competition next month. Longest of all 3x fish will win. Have fun, get out there and be safe.

The Kingfish just keep coming. Dan landed this big boy on live bait. Coming in at 127cm and 24.4kg.
That puts Dan in the lead for the monthly challenge. Still got 2 weeks left...can you top that?

This is a team species competition – it’s not about catching the biggest fish, it’s about how many different species your team can put on the board.

Another Kingfish for Amber...another PB! This beauty came in at 109cm putting Amber in the lead for the monthly measure challenge. This chubby kingi weighed in at an impressive 22.2kg.
Well done Amber.

Owen Clark managed a nice Kingfish measuring 100cm. Unfortunately he had a long fish but had already the tail off to fit in the chilly bin before he got a photo. Oh well Owen...I'm sure you'll get another chance.

We are back up and running with the monthly challenge. Kingfish seem to be coming in HOT at the moment so get out there and land yourself a big dog!! 829 must be in the photo.

Over the school holidays we had a beach cleanup and art competition.... lots or rubbish was picked up and disposed of, great work kids!

Our winner is the Jellyfish picked out by our judge Sarah. The winner has been told and can pick up a prize at Reel Rods NZ
