On Sunday we had 15 of the 16 qualifiers turn up and play for the title of season 4 champion
Nick has been playing some impressive poker lately so to take the title was truly deserved, Nick overcome Gareth was was second ,Darryl third ,Pauline fourth well done to those who cashed.
Unfortunately this is the end of the Black River Poker Society it has been an enjoyable journey and thank you to all of those who have played and supported us, good news there will still be Sunday game at Oamaru Club 2.00pm so go down and support the game still.

Arron takes down Sunday freezeout♠️♥️♣️♦️
Yesterday we had a marathon game to finish the season. With 2 of the last 3 players fighting for a champs seat was an interesting finish to the game eventually Arron took the win from a very unlucky Clint who has finished 2nd for the last 3 weeks with the cards being unfriendly at crucial spots ,Bryce finished 3rd was also fighting for a seat but was not meant to be this time ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Good game yesterday with some nice play ,Timmy took the win from Clint who has been 2nd the last 2 weeks with consistent play David was 3rd ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Great game yesterday plenty of good hands and lay downs but it was Alan taking the 1st prize and booking himself a seat to next months champs game.Nick was second with a great game laying down a full house earlier and he was correct his opponent had a higher full house well played Nick,Lee carried on her consistent form with 3rd ♠️♥️♣️♦️
