Well done to Sandra, Geoff and Alison, who took out the Bruce & Fiona Cup today!!

We had a 'slight' drama today when the wall between the toilet and main area decided to resemble the Dawson Falls, it meant we had to cut the day short, so thanks to all in attendance for being understanding. ๐Ÿ’ฆ

We've shut the water off, so as we've a game planned for next Sunday, please check on here to see what's happening as we're literally up the creek without a paddle at the moment...

Thanks to all who came on Sunday gone for Opening Day, it was great to see the usual friendly faces together with a few new ones, we hope you all enjoyed yourselves! Thanks also to Koog for coming out and giving us an update on all things bowls.

Well done to Team Sandra B, who after a playoff against Elaine's team, secured the trophy.

If you missed out, then don't worry, we'll be open this coming Sunday where we'll be playing form the Bruce & Fiona Cup (aka The Chairmans/Treasurers Cup). Details to follow!

We're shocked and saddened to hear of the recent passing of Daniel Doyle. A friend of the club, we had plenty of laughs with you, and we've great memories of your visits for our social nights on Friday night.

Your natural sporting ability came through on whatever green you played on, and you always played with the intent of being the best that you could be whilst having a good time. You'll be missed by all that knew you mate, and our condolences, thoughts and sympathy go out to all the family and loved ones. โค๏ธ

We might be closed for winter, but that doesn't stop us from getting together. Our friends at the The Good Home support our annual 2-day tournament with vouchers for our raffle, so we thought we'd return the compliment by bringing the gang down for brunch.

As usual, we had some great food in a cosy atmosphere, thanks to the The Good Home for making us feel welcome!

It's not long until we officially open again for the new season (Sunday 13th September), so I'm sure we can fit in another gathering. Question is, where... ๐Ÿค”

Unfortunately, we've noticed that our Manu Day trophy is missing. ๐Ÿ˜ข

Does anyone know its whereabouts? We've been playing for this trophy at the club on Manu Day for at least 30 years, and it's impossible to replicate, and belongs at the club.

If you know where it is, please can you do all you can to ensure its safe return. Thanks for any help in locating it. ๐Ÿ™‚
