Even during maintenance week we manage to get some flying in!
Well done to Phil and student Emma for managing to stay up for an hour in thermals, certainly an achievement for September.
The beginning of the season is just around the corner and our fleet is getting ready ✈️

Flying in Australia in the middle of winter! Your Captain, Rod Stuart visited Lake Keepit Soaring Club and flew. After a check flight with local instructor Jenny Gander I was let loose on their club Hornet. Beautiful big thermals to 5,500' with outstanding Australian outback scenery. I am so stoked! Check out this wee video. 😎
The Lake Keepet Gliding Club has so many parallels with the Omarama Gliding Club. Look for the next Captains Log, full moon at the end of May, where I give you a full write up about an amazing adventure! 🦘

The OGC visits Mordor.
