A little something for your Saturday evening…
MyoYin is back this Saturday, 29 August, from 6–8pm.
Two whole hours to slow things down, get out of your head and into your body.
We’ll combine myofascial release using balls and props with long, slow Yin holds — working into those tight, sticky areas and giving your body plenty of time to soften and release.
No experience needed. Just come as you are, wear something comfy and be prepared for a very chilled Saturday night.
Saturday 29 August
6pm–8pm
The Yin Side, Paihia
$40
2 spaces left, so book online if you’d like to join me.

If I’m honest, I almost always have a wobble before a longer class.
The stories start:
“What if no one books?”
“What if people don’t enjoy it?”
“What if it’s not good enough?”
Today was the first 3-Hour Yin Journey of the year, and once again those thoughts turned out to be just thoughts.
Because what happened instead was a room full of people willing to slow down, soften, rest, and spend a winter afternoon taking care of themselves.
To the new faces, the returning faces, and the familiar regular faces, thank you.
Thank you for trusting me to guide you, for showing up for yourselves, and for helping create such a beautiful energy in the room.
Teaching these longer journeys is one of my favourite things to do, even if my nervous system occasionally forgets that beforehand.
Today was a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to feel completely confident before we do something meaningful.
And for three hours this afternoon, we slowed down, settled in, and shared something pretty special together. 🤍

As we move toward winter — the most yin time of the year — nature begins to slow down. The days become quieter, the nights longer, and we’re invited to soften, conserve energy, and turn inward.
The Slow Return — Into Stillness
A 3 Hour Yin Journey
Sunday 7 June · 3pm–6pm
Studio 39, Paihia
This afternoon is an invitation to step out of the rush and settle into slower rhythms through long-held yin shapes, breathwork, stillness, and deep rest.
Expect grounding shapes, nervous system support, spacious pauses, and the kind of rest that lingers long after you leave.
We’ll finish the afternoon with homemade treats and time to ground, connect, and kōrero together.
The first 3 Hour Yin Journey of the year — and these journeys always sell out.
Bookings essential via www.theyinsidepaihia.com
Suitable for all bodies and levels except those who are pregnant.
