The Team of 1️⃣1️⃣🐴❤️

They all live together as a team. They sleep together, eat together, swim together, trek together, gallop together, and play together. Ranging from 11 hands to 17 hands, and from white to chestnut to Appaloosa, we are actually missing a paint horse—maybe that will be the next addition? Those horses can adjust to all types of riders, from total beginners to advanced riders. I love them all in different ways; they each have unique personalities, strengths, and weaknesses!

Our experience is back with a bang this summer! We've never been treated to such incredible ☀ and 🌊 conditions this early on in the season - summer has definitely arrived and visibility is amazing!

Hiring Part-Time / Flexi Staff positions available October 2024-April 2025

Horse Trek'n Bay of Islands is hiring Trekking guides to join the summer staff roster:

- Minimum 8 years equestrian experience, and confidence and experience working around horses of all ages
- Great people and social skills
- Must be willing to work some / alternate weekends
- Previous experience in similar positions an advantage
- Valid First Aid / Water Safety certificate an advantage
- Must have valid right to work in NZ
- Regrettably no on-site accommodation available
