Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool and Leisure Centre Lloyd Elsmore Fitness Centre is located in Pakuranga. We have everything you require to get fit and The centre has a swim shop, a café and plenty of parking.

Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool and Leisure Centre is your local Pakuranga spot for all things active — jump in! Go for a swim in the leisure or lap pools, relax in the spa or sauna, work out in the gym. Get involved in one of our member fitness challenges, or get moving in a group fitness class. There’s also a splash pool and fun and interactive outdoor splash pad open during the summer. For those with accessibility needs, a water wheelchair is available.

If a glass bottle breaks near the pool, we must close the pool to keep everyone safe. 🚧

Our team then needs to check the whole pool and surrounding area and remove every tiny piece of glass. This can take a while - but safety has to come first.

💧 You can help us avoid closures.

Please bring non‑glass bottles when you visit the centre.

🐠 Helpful tips for our little swimmers

For some little ones, wearing a swim cap for the first time can feel a bit different. That's why we recommend trying one at home before lessons start. A quick practice in the bath or shower can help build confidence and make lesson time feel more familiar.

💡 Prefer something a little softer? Lycra caps are a comfortable alternative to silicone caps and can be easier to put on.

💧 Swimming caps are required for all Learn to Swim students aged 3 years and over.

Aquatics Area Shutdown & Maintenance

Our annual Aquatics maintenance is coming up. This allows us to complete essential maintenance and improvement work in one closure period, helping to minimize future disruptions for our members.

The Aquatics area will close from Monday 20 July and is scheduled to reopen on Monday 3 August. Plus, a one-day partial gym closure on 24 July, 9am to 1pm.

✅ Group Fitness classes in the Main Studio and RPM Studio will continue as normal.
✅ The gym will remain open as normal, except during the partial closure period on 24 July.
