Today's been an emotional rollercoaster for us, as we farewell 2 individuals who have touched so many hearts throughout our community.

Williams and Victor the joy and laughter you've brought to the region will never be forgotten, you have made yourselves an intricate part of so many lives and our hearts ach to see yous off tonight.

On behalf of the Club Juanita Wahanui and I wish to thank you for letting us be apart of your journey, the memories we've created are ones we'll hold deepest in our hearts. Always remember there will always be a place for yous here.

Safe travels, much love from us and we will see you both again soon.

We didn't come away with the Dub but you fellas played till the end!!!! We are so proud of you young men and you guys should be proud of each other. Was an amazing game right to the bitter end.

Our accom in Whanganui (Coachman's Lodge) thank you for your tautoko towards all our teams and letting us keep our stuff at the lodge while we played our finals thank you Lucy and Pete xx

Last and certainly not least thank you to Jade for all your time organizing, advise, support and making sure that everything runs smoothly not just for all the teams but also for all the managers, coaches, refs and me!!!!! we all appreciate and see all the work that you do and continue to do for everyone thank you very much xx

Almost 2 years since our last post and things have gotten hella busy.

First Tournament of the year and we are so proud of all our teams.

Special mention to the 3 JSC teams, we hope the journey and experience helps build into a bright basketball future.

To our young men in the 19s finals today, it's within reach, you just have to take it.

We are running a 3v3 mini tournament on Friday 15th of December - from 8-10pm. Grades and cost as follows:

Intermediate teams $20 per team
Secondary School teams $20 per team
Open Mens teams $40 per team
Wheelchair Basketball Teams - FREE

This is an opportunity to come along and experience a taste of the 3v3 game whilst we look forward to a 2024 that offers a few more events in that space. Call your own fouls, record your own scores - just come down and have a go.

We will have support staff there to assist out youngest teams - providing guidance and helping the games along.

We want to focus on offering something that is FUN and enjoyable for all.
