Our Palmy Venues + Events team recently hosted the NZASI2026 Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology conference at the Palmy Conference + Function Centre.

"A big thank you for doing such a wonderful job with the conference. Everything was so well organised, and the event ran very smoothly from start to finish. Thanks to the two technicians; they were fantastic and made sure everything worked perfectly throughout the conference".

Float registrations are now open for A Very Palmy Christmas Parade, happening on Sunday 6 December.

Once again, our friends at the Kairanga Lions are bringing the parade to the streets of Palmy, and they’re looking for local businesses, schools, clubs, community groups and organisations to get involved.

Registrations close 30 October, or earlier if the maximum of 60 entries is reached – so don’t leave it too late.

Want to be part of the action behind the scenes at some of Palmy’s biggest events?

We’re looking for an Events Venue Officer to join our Palmy Venues + Events team for a 12-month fixed term.

From setting up spaces at Arena, Palmy Conference + Function Centre and Caccia Birch to supporting events and activations across the city, no two days are quite the same.

If you’re practical, enjoy hands-on work and have a can-do attitude, we’d love to hear from you.
