What a finish to our Futures Development Days Ryder Cup on Saturday!

The contest went right down to the final hole, with USA taking a one-point lead into the team Ambrose. Archie Webby produced one of the moments of the day by draining a 40 foot putt on 17 to keep Europe alive, before Zac hit a superb wedge to two feet on the 18th to seal the result for USA. Both teams finished the Ambrose at -4, with USA claiming the overall victory by a single point.

Earlier in the session, players developed their own pre-shot routines and learned how to use their individual dispersion patterns and the cone of acceptability to make smarter on-course decisions. It was an eye-opening session that will continue to benefit their course management.

Massive thanks to the coaches Tim, Mitchell and Alan at Manawatu Golf Club for their time, knowledge and support for these days. Your commitment to helping our players develop both on and off the course is greatly appreciated.
