After a career that has given us so much to celebrate over the last 6 years, the time has come for Belardo Boy to head into retirement from racing🤍.

“Bruno”, as he is better known at home, has always been a stable favourite and loved by everyone. Picked out by Lisa at the 2020 Karaka sales and purchased for $28,000 from Haunui Farm, he went on to win 11 races and earn more than $475,000 in stakes.

Bruno’s career was highlighted by his Group 3 wins in the 2023 Winter Cup & 2023 Metric mile. He also won two Listed races, the Ōpunake Cup in 2024 and the AGC Training stakes. On top of that, he placed in a further 12 races.

He has given his owners and all of us at the stable plenty of great days, memorable wins and enjoyment along the way. We are so proud of the journey he has taken us on, and are very happy to see him head off to the perfect home where he can enjoy his next chapter and life after racing.

Brutiful Lass paid the believers again yesterday at Hastings, making it two wins on the bounce under Bruno Queiroz! 🏇💨

A huge congratulations to her syndicate of wonderful owners, who played the patience game for a while as they waited for that maiden win. Their patience is certainly being rewarded now! 👏

Stablemate Carlow chased her home in second to deliver a stable Quinella. 👌

There was also another milestone to celebrate with the boss chalking up her 1,300th domestic winner. 🏆

Cremant made it 50 winners for Team Latta for the season today at Otaki, and she delivered in fine fashion under a polished ride by Amber Riddell.
She is a talented filly who looks set to work her way through the grades quickly! Congratulations to all involved 👏

Damiano delivered a late Easter treat for his connections yesterday at Wanganui in style 🐎✨

Settling at the rear of the field under Sam Collett, he produced a powerful turn of foot to charge home and score by just under three lengths!

He has now had four starts over 2000m for three wins and a placing.

HE’S A DOOZY wins the Group Two Awapuni Gold Cup today at Trentham in style! 🏆

That’s win number 11 for his career — and an incredible seventh win at Trentham. Safe to say the Champagne Turf has been a pretty happy hunting ground for him. 🍾

We are incredibly proud of “Zac” as he is known to all the stable staff, and there is no doubt he had an angel riding with him today. 🤍🐎

Platinum Attack is back in the winner’s circle! 🏆

A brilliant performance yesterday at Trentham saw him storm home to take out the Listed Lightning Handicap, unleashing a powerful finish under Bruno Queiroz on the Champagne Turf.

Luck hasn’t always been on his side this season, so this victory was especially well deserved—and incredibly rewarding for long-time loyal supporters Neville McAlister and John Street.
